Adjustable on center spacing for Array in a dynamic block

Hi,

Is there a way to have the array distance in a dynamic block linked to an adjustable object? If not, is there another way to adjust it?

Attached is a block i am updating with the problem shown.

Which object are you trying to link? the Diamond shape?

I am trying make the holes on the edges array using the distance parameter that is on the cyan line. I want to be able to adjust that parameters length and have the the array adjust the offset distance to the new length

Not if you want the user to be able to change the spacing for the Array.

Though doing what you are asking with the Text around the Parameter Distance will do nothing for the spacing of the objects in the Array. That would need to be controlled thru the Properties Window when the Array Action is highlighted. The user would change the Column Offset to some other Value.

But yes, you can use any Linear Parameter you wish to drive the Array Action. Distance2 works just fine in the attached.
