1 attribute, 2 visibility states

Hello all,

Has anyone else come accross the need to create a block with several visibility states that link to the same attribute (in this case more appropriately called a variable) but which is in two different locations?

More simply put; I want to show my elevation block on the left or right side of a structural component however I only want to fill out the attributes in one of the visibility states and have them be linked to the other state, saving me the hassle of re-entering them when I change the state.

Thanks,

Is the Mirror parameter not working for you?

I know it can be fiddly.

Otherwise, filling one attribute using a field linked to the other is all I can think of.

Yes the "flip" parameter ended up doing the trick. I tried using the attribute value linked to a field but it never worked out. The flip action ended up being cleaner and lighter, removing the need for visibility states.

I just had to make sure that the attributes's positions were "locked" and that the parameter "mirtext" was set to 0.

Thanks,
