Drafting Techniques

Hi ...I can see under Tool>options where/how to change colours of various on screen items ie cursor etc...I don't see how to change the colour of the Dynamic Text....I can change the line colour  for this but text is colour 8 approx and a bit faint for for my liking........

....also how about changing the size of this text.......that would be helpful

anyone know how to do either of these changes

Text or MText entities are typically created using BYLAYER as the color of the entity.  Display and plotting are then controlled by the Layer settings.  There is not way under OPTIONS to set the color of text object, and it would not make sense if there was -- user's need to be able to control that on a per-object basis.

Or am I misunderstanding the question?

Hi JG....I am referring to the dynamic dimensions that pop up when I select a line, rectangle, circle etc and hover over a corner grip....I have managed to change the dim line colour but want to change the colour and size of the text

From the Command Line:

DSETTINGS; Dynamic Input tab; Drafting Tooltip Appearance; Change the Size.
