In a set of architectural drawings, is it necessary to place a North arrow on every sheet or will it suffice to just put the North arrow on the site plan?

IMHO - Site Plan
Have seen it on Plan and Elevation pages but never had a reason to know this information.
Might make sense in some cases on floor plans but again: The foundation is going to be where it is.

City plan reviewers like to see it on floor plans, foundation plans, framing plans. Anything that is "plan" view. That way they know the orientation of the building. I would put it with a bar scale below the N arrow.
