How do I create a linetype with a shape include on it?

The exact chapter will probably vary, but for AutoCAD 2000 --> look in chapter 2 of the customization manual -> Linetype definition files -> Complex Linetypes.

This combined with an example (the stock AutoCAD complex linetypes) - and you should be able to create your own in no time.....

If you have the express tools use the "make shape" and "make linetype"
commands, they make it very easy.

Has anyone out there tried to load and use the GAS or HW linetype in
ACAD2000 running on Windows 2000? They crash AutoCAD every time I load
either one of them, yet they work fine in my NT environment.
