Layer drop down box and cursor colour problem

Hi ..when I open the the layer drop down and move my mouse over the various layers, it turns the line black and I can't read the text.....can anyone tell me if there is an option to change that ..see attached..

.....I have looked under options > colours but haven't found the solution yet

You may try toggling Hardware Acceleration On/Off. Update video driver if that works.

You could also try changing to a different Windows Theme
