programmatically changing text in DWF files

Is it possible to change text programmatically in a DWF file?

I want to change text of an 2d sheet with property values from Vault.

With DWF files from Revit we are able to change it directly in the underlying XML file using a zip stream (C#).

Searching for certain XML tags and replacing the matched text results in an DWF file with updated text when viewing with Design Review.

Unfortunately this doesn't work with DWF Inventor (2013) files.

For example in DWF file:

'test.dwf.zip\com.autodesk.dwf.ePlot_949ACD06-970A-4686-A816-28D017AA8D93\descriptor.xml'

changing tag: <ePlot:smileytongue:roperty name="Checked by" value="Test replace" category="Design Tracking Properties"/>

doesn't result in an update.

When opening this file in Design Review the previous value 'Test' instead of 'Test replace' is shown.

Any suggestion howto change text of 2d sheets in DWF files?
