layer visability with named views in DWF

I would like to have a specific layer visable when a specific named view is active. But I do not want that layer visable on the initial view or when other views are active.

for example:

user opens dwf which starts in initial view, user clicks 'named view 1', dwf viewer zooms to view 1 and turns on layer '1'

user clicks on 'named view 2', dwf viewer zooms to view 2, turns off layer '1' and turns on layer '2'

user clicks on 'named view 3', dwf viewer zooms to view 3, turns off layer '2' and turns on layer '3'... and so on...

is this possible?

thanks in advance.

I am not sure if you are asking this from the API perspective, if you have your own application with ADR control integrated into it, I think the functionality you are looking for is easily acheivable. However, I am not sure if you could do this by using ADR off the shelf.

Well I don't have an app yet, but I'm thinking about building one with this funtionality. Any ideas or examples of code to accomplish this? Thanks.

Thank you for your question.

You can embed an ADR ActiveX control in VB.NET, VC.NET, and JavaScript, and use the APIs to customized it. You can refer to ADR API Documentation.

You can leverage PageView & PageLayer to implement your application.

Please let me know if you have any further question.
