Unlocked markups revert to locked after save/saveas

I'm unlocking markups and saving. When I reopen the dwf, all markups have reverted back to locked status. This happens on all of our dwfs. Some of the markups we're using are Design Review's text/length measurement/revclouds/and even our own custom stamps........they all revert back to locked.

I tried saving as a new dwf using saveas, they're still locked.

Is this by design? A defect? Or am I doing something wrong?

Hi John,
The "locked" state was intended to prevent unintential editing of the markups.
On file open, all of the markups should be locked until you unlock them for editing.
Double-click should work as a way to quickly unlock an item.

Yes. But if you unlock the markups>save>close ADR.......shouldn't they be unlocked next time you open the dwf? They were saved in a state of unlock.

...sounds like we should consider an option to save the locked/unlocked states for markups on file close.
And it sounds like you would vote for the default to be to NOT lock all markups on save.
I'll enter a wishlist item into our database for this.
