Missing Ribbon in IE9, Windows 7

We have some clients who have recently replaced their computers and after installing ADR2012, the ribbon bar is missing. Common to these is that they all have Windows 7 and IE9 on their computers.

After uninstalling ADR2012 and installing ADR2010 instead, everything works as it should. But that hardly solves the original error ...
Some ideas on what might be wrong?

I am seeing this same issue with Win7 64 and IE9.

 

I guess a downgrade is in order.
