Design Review does not support files of this type.

So I saved a set fo drawings as a DWF. and sent them for review. The set was markedup and then saved, when I tried to open it I get the message "Your current version of Design Review does not support files of this type." We have been doing this process for a while now, is there any way to recover the data from the markups?

So... what version of ADR do you have?
