Cannot open DWF files directly by clicking on them

I have one of our computers where the user cannot click on a DWF file to open it within Autodesk Design Review.  When you click on the icon nothing happens.  The only way to open the file is to start a session of Autodesk Design Review and from there open the file.

You cannot open a DWF file by clicking on the icon within Microsoft outlook

You cannot open a DWF file by clicking on the icon within Windows Explorer

You cannot open a DWF file by downloading it directly from a website

If anyone has encountered this and knows how to fix it that would be great.  We've unloaded and re-installed the program a couple times and even that doesn't fix it.   Operating System is Windows 7 Professional.

Thank you for your question.

Maybe there is something wrong with register entity of Autodesk Design Review (ADR) when installing. You can select ADR as default browser manually following steps:

  a. Right click a DWF/DWFx file, select "Open with..."

  b. Check "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file", and then Click "Browse..."

  c. Select "DesignReivew.exe" from ADR installation path.

  d. Click "OK".

Please let me know if you have any follow-on questions.
