evaluating this software is mission critical for you, I can get you one
regular copy to try. You can uninstall it if you decide not to buy.

That gold bar is unexpectedly impacting the activation/deactivation of the
product because it is a trial. The gold bar didn't exist when the trial
version was originally planned. Now we have to account for it.

Sure, I see the reason! From my point of view its because you don't want
your customers to be able to plan on anything or count on Autodesk to
deliver on commitments. If I ran projects and missed dates as often and by
much as software companies, I wouldn't be running projects anymore.
And, its not like the product is still in development. My understanding is
all that needs to be done is to make it into a trial version. Its not like
Autodesk doesn't know how to make trial versions.
