Your WHIP! is out of date.

I have been trying to save as .dwf with lottsa problems with x-refs and images attached. When I do open the file after binding my browser says that my WHIP! is out of date even though I have just updated to 4.0. I am running ACAD2002 and Windows 2000.

If you want to use WHip, you must plot DWF's
as  "Whip 3.1 compatible version" or you will get the message
described.  Autodesk is no longer updating Whip, apparently.  You must
otherwise download VoloView Express  (~25MB vs. 5MB - Hooray for
progress!!! <vbg>)

There is a learning curve with VVE, especially if
non-technical users wish to print...

How do you plot DWF's as "Whip 3.1 compatible version". I have just installed the Service Pack, should have done that long ago, and still I don't see a variable for Whip 3.1.

WHIP stopped being developed a few years back: they only keep it
up on their website because not everyone wants to download the
VVE supertanker just to look at DWF files.

To create WHIP compatible DWF files, select the DWF Classic
option instead of the DWF ePlot or DWF eView options. Documented
well in HELP, if you want to read up on the topic.

For an even smaller, and more up-to-date solution while we wait
for Autodesk's soon to be available fix, try this freebie DWF
viewer instead that is even smaller than WHIP to download and
use, and share:
