DWG TrueView

I have just tried to upgrade from Trueview 2011 on an XP desktop to 2013 64 bit on a Win7 64 bit desktop. I am getting the Heidi message which seems to be just a nuisance. However when I open a cad file there is no dialog box associated with the measuring tool and so I can measure but get no answers....

Uninstalling and changing to 32 bit has not worked.

2011 appears not to be compatible with Win7

Any suggestions please?

My IT people have worked around this by installing a virtual XP desktop and reverting to the 2011 software. It works, but is very cumbersome.

Free software is all very well but if you can't rely on it and it isn't supported it is a liability
