True View 14

Trying to print a drawing on letter size paper. No matter what setting I use, the drawing preview shows vertical and the paper is shown horizontal and that is the way the print comes out. I can not get it to print with the correct size and orientation.

Post a screenshot of your PLOT dialog pop-up, let's see your chosen parameters.

Welcome to the Autodesk Forums!

This preview here (red rectangle) or when you hit the Preview button in the bottom left?

And is the heavy black arrow at the bottom right pointing left or right?

Talk about something that would take the programmers about 1 minute to FIX.

Who thought of hiding a portion of the PLOT dialog as a default, and why??

Makes zero sense.

The dialog fit better that way on a 4:3 CRT perhaps?

Back in the day it was a highly visible second tab: this little tiny button isn't working for many users in a rush.

But I do like the question as to why?

Probably never been asked.

Recently.

Why? They like to redesign the popups every now and then. Probably no real deep hidden secret or reason. Human nature not to think of consequences sometimes.
