I've noticed with TrueView 2011 That if I drag and drop a drawing into the view window that the ribbon and the command line are turned off. If I turn them back on and then close and open TrueView again and this time use the open command the ribbon and command line are opened. If I try the drag and drop method the next time it defaults them off again.
Is there anyway to fix this? It's a bit annoying.
Thanks
Terry
I have not been able to reproduce this behavior. Please uninstall and then resinstall Trueview. Does the functionality now work? If not, please provide the following information:
1) What OS are you using?
2) 32 or 64 bit?
Hi Shawn,
This is occurring on Windows XP Pro SP3 32 bit and Windows 7 Pro 64 bit Version 6.1 Build 7600.
I tried an uninstall and then a reinstall same issue is occurring. Note AutoCAD 2011is also installed on both platforms and up todate as well as Design Review 2011 and the VBA Enabler for AutoCAD 2011. OS for Windows 7 is a fresh install.
TrueView was reinstalled as a fresh download from the Autodesk site.
Exact sequence to get this to occur:
Open Trueview
Open a drawing from the pull down
The ribbon and command line will appear.
Close drawing
Drag and drop a drawing into the Trueview window.
The ribbon and command line will appear.
Exit Trueview
Open Trueview
Drag and drop a drawing into the Trueview window.
The ribbon and the command line are turned off.
Exit Trueview
Open Trueview
Open a drawing from the pull down.
The ribbon and the command line are turned off.
Thanks
Terry
