Has anyone had this problem?
After uninstalling TrueView 2010, I used jv16 Power Tools to clean my registry and then rebooted.
I downloaded the "SetupDWGTrueView2013_64bit.exe" file for my Win7 64-bit Professional system.
Ran this file which created an 'Autodesk/DWGTrueViewx64InstallImage' directory containing the installation files.
Double-clicked the "Setup.exe" file, the User Account Control window opened, I said "Yes" to allow Autodesk to make changes to my computer, and nothing happened.
I tried running the "Setup.exe" file as an Administrator and even copied the InstallImage files to a new directory. Setup.exe didn't install there either.
I never get the installation to begin, but just in case, I do have MS Net 4 Extended installed along with SP1 (KB2468871).
Does anyone have an idea why 'Setup.exe' doesn't run?
Thanks greatly for your help.
Jerry
i unsinstalled TrueView 2012, which worked fine, and then couldn't get 2013 to install. i also re-installed Net 4 and SB 2. still no luck.
