Regsrv 32

Each time I try to install volo view I get the
following:

REGSVR32 caused an invalid page fault in
module at 0000:ffffffff.
Registers:
EAX=00000000 CS=0137 EIP=ffffffff EFLGS=00010246

EDX=33114670 ES=013f EDI=00000000 GS=0000
Bytes at CS:EIP:

I am not able to view dwg.
Am I missing a file needed to install????
It will install but the following occurs when I
try to load a dwg file:
Failed to get class object for CLSD (6C9FD3CA-78FA-11D2-9208-0060B0870404) FAILED TO LOAD MODULE

Has someone got a clue as to what I can do?????
thanks
Bob

As part of its install, Volo View Express or Volo
View tries to register DLLs with the operating system, so programs like Internet
Explorer can find them. Reg server 32 is the program that does this. The program
is crashing during the install. As a result your DLLs are not registered. When
trying to use Volo View or Express, components get searched for by class ID.
Since all of the DLLs weren't registered, the "failed to get object for class
ID" message appears.

You are not the first to encounter this problem.
When Volo View Express was developed, it was installed on a variety of machines.
Everything from a machine with nothing but the operating system to one with lots
of programs (including AutoCAD) was tried. Despite this, you have some
combination that does not work. Last time a newsgroup user had this problem, we
never got to the bottom of it. He formatted his hard drive, re-installed the OS
clean, and then successfully did the Volo View Express install.
Sorry.

OK, I just experienced the same problem with Regsvr32. I assume that one can manually set the registry keys with regedit. Alternatively, you could write a little Visual Basic script that enters the registry info.

Can you tell me the the values for:
CLSID:{6C9FD3CA-78FA-11D2-9208-0060B087404}

OR: Can you tell me what won't work without this registry key?

Thanks
