Plot definitions from acad to vv

Can printer/plot definitions saved to layout sheets in acad2k or mechanical
desktop be accessed by VV. To explain...scenario.....Drawings being
accessed in a factory environment. Due to the (numerous) print/plot
problems with View, I want to automatically use those settings for printouts
so the guys out there don't have to choose printers/settings etc.

Will the API allow me to get at these settings within VV/VVE so that I can
embed VV in my own app and have a simplified 'print' button which I would
    make to use these settings.

    Thanks

Volo View Express does not have the print engine that AutoCAD does. It
simply uses the system printer. So all of those special settings, e.g. pen
mappings, that are captured in PC3 files are not used by Volo View Express.
We are considering including this in Volo View by using AutoCAD OEM as a
plotting solution. That way Volo View would print like AutoCAD, because it
    is essentially AutoCAD.

    Thanks for the info, Scott.

It would be a big help if this were included in VV when rolling out to
    factory/manufacturing environment.
