Measuring in Volo View Express

I am trying to take a measurement of a part in Volo View Express 2. It says to use the Markup menu and click on Distance. There is no menu labelled Distance. Am I doing something wrong?

You have to have the pay version of Volo to have
the measure feature.

Volo Express is just view and print, mimimal
redlining.

I am having a great deal of difficulty bringing in engineering drawings into Volo View and scaling them so that I can effectively use the measuring tools. If the drawing scale is say 1” = 60’, I set the file/setup/page settings to 1” = 60’ but when I attempt to use the Volo View tools it only reads in inches. Not feet. Please help. I reviewed the help files that came with the program but to no avail. Can someone send me a clear example of the process?

Thanks

Drawing scale is already reflected in the measure
tools.

For model space, they work in the World coordinate
system of the model, but sometimes it can not guess the intended units
and defaults to inches.  You can change units to feet in the drawing
settings tab.

If you are trying to measure objects in embedded
viewports  in paper space,

you can to apply the measure shape , click on the
dimension, and then use its Scale property to set to the viewport scale to
calibrate the measurements.
