Linetype problem

I have a drawing that I am viewing in VVE and the custom linetypes are not
showing up properly. The font that I am using for the custom linetype is
ROMANS. I am also using MS/PS in AutoCAD r14.01. The S's and E's in my sewer
and electric lines(respectively) are huge.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
