I have 2-D drawings in color.
Does anyone know how to change the view in DWG TrueView 2010 to black & white?
Thanks for your help and time.

When you view a drawing in model space, the items are in color. When you
view them in one of the layouts, you can change the pen mappings so that the
items appear in black and white. You would want to select a Monochrome CTB
(color table) for this purpose.

I don't thinks so. But you can try this free viewer, some features are commercial but the viewer is still free after the trial. I'm using it now to view my dwg and dwf in monochrome.

How about for viewing the drawings in paperspace already, ie: they are inventor.dwg
Is there a way to force it to plot all black?
None of the options make the correct difference.
You either get - Color or Greyscale....when you want "black"
How can something so simple, be so difficult!?!?!
Thanks, Larry

I do not think DWG TrueView has this setting.
Maybe you can download the Autodesk Design Review (ADR) from the Autodesk official website to install. You can open the DWG file in ADR if you have installed DWG TrueView or AutoCAD to support. There is the "Black & White" option under View panel of ADR.

Maybe you can use [DWGSee Viewer | http://www.autodwg.com/dwg-viewer/] and view all the layouts in black and white. It says it has 21-day trial but it actually will not expire and you can still view it and print it.
