Colour vs Monochrome

I am glad I am not the only one with this fustrating problem. My AutoCAD dwgs are in colour, but VVE does not appear to print monochrome, only greyscale. I have tried updating my printer drivers, and playing with settings, but no joy. Come on Autodesk, please help us out. We do not want faint greyscale drawings from our b&w printers! Thank-you.

Printing thorough Volo View Express is controlled by the Windows system
printer driver. If the driver is capable of adjusting the grayscale
control in it then you should be able to control the darkness of the
print. Try adjusting through the Printer driver located through Start /
Settings and Printer. Or you may be able to adjust the darkness in the
Print option in Volo View Express by starting up the Print options and
see what settings are available in the Properties button. Some printer
drivers are adjustable there.

Why not just use the Options to set the printer to use Black for the
Geometry Color and White for the Background Color. I leave the Display
portion to Default Colors. This is working for me.
