Black and white screen view

How can I display and print a colored drawing in black & white? Colors are difficult to view.

I'm going to bump this topic because I'm new to TrueView (using 2012 version) and have the same issue. I want to make TrueView my company's standard viewer but most users want to view black and white images. I've seen users on this board requesting this capability in posts from many years ago. Surely this can't be that difficult of a feature to incorporate!  This also applies for plotting / batch plotting - we want to generate plots in black and white via a setting that's maintained within TrueView - and NOT grayscale. Light layer colors like yellow plot too faintly in grayscale.

ATTENTION FORUM MODERATOR: What's going on here???

Getting help to make Trueview merely display or print an opened drawing as pure, shadeless black on white the same way Voloview did years ago is a very reasonable request that deserves a reply. At least Voloview (now obsolete) had a pulldown tab that permitted the user to select this mode.

Why must Trueview be so dog-gone complicated for those of us desiring such a simple fast view of a simple dwg file??? I've got the same problem as others on this thread.

PLEASE POST A SOLUTION!!!!!!!

THANK YOU FOR ANY CONSIDERATION.

So, evidently we have to SHOUT to be heard, eh?  🙂 The product's inability to do this is the only thing keeping us from adopting it as our standard viewer at a very large automotive mfg company.  Just sayin'.

Hi,

no, you don't have to shout to be heard. 🙂

If this is a very important issue for your employer, it may still be a good idea to raise it also through your employer's Subscription account, either by logging a case through Subscription Center, or via their reseller.

Best regards,

Silvia
