fill islands withing polyline

When assigning a fill color to a (closed) polyline in a dwf, the color will fill the total space within the polyline. This polyline could include one or more other polylines within it. Is it in some way possible to fill the outer polyline but exclude the fill of the inner polyline? Breaking up the outer polyline in multiple parts is not really an option because the polylines are available from the beginning in a fixed state. I only want to apply colors to it, so this filling should all be done in de DWF and not while editing the DWG in Autocad. If excluding is not possible, could it be possible to visually hide the inner fill by filling it again with a "blank fill", which will be shown on top of the the outer fill? Maybe any other suggestions?
