View DWF's Information

Is it possible to view the information written in the DWF-file. Like Author,
Scale, Papersize, Printing Date/Time and maybe Compagny Name

Some of this information is in the descriptor.xml file (included in the DWF
file)

To get this descriptor.xml, unpack the dwf with WinZip (or other unzip tool)

Try to write the required info in the file properties.
Without opening the file you can see them automatically.
The same you can do with word, excel, etc. files
Try it.

We use this method for an internal PDM

The next version of the Autodesk Express Viewer (AEV 4.0), which is due by
the end of the month, will display "page properties". Some of these "page
properties" will include author, creation time/date, etc. Paper size is
already displayed in AEV 3.1, but 4.0 will have a new list view with this
information. Scale is not displayed in the GUI but is defined in the XML
transform data.

I just checked and the Beta for AEV 4.0 has just been closed this morning
since the release is so close at hand. So you'll have to wait for 4.0...

i am a little bit suppriced about closing the beta. I have send several bugs
and got no answer that you have fixed them.

I am sure that they have considered every submission - whilst a lot of them
make it,
there will always be some that don't.
