Inserting the same Image to multiple pages

Hello,
We need to insert an image to multiple pages of a DWF drawing. We are doign it using a C++ program.
Assume that the image file size is "n" then when we increase the image to all the pages the size of the new DWF file increased multifold (eg: n * number of pages)
Is there a way to embed the image only once and specify to use it in everypage so the file size increase do not depend on the number of pages in the document.
