DWF6 eplot error

Help! I have the DWF6 eplot.pc3 so that I can convert dwgs to dwfs. However, when I go to plot them, the plot progress dialog box comes up and gets about a third of the way through and sticks. Eventually, I have to do a ctrl+alt+delete to end task. Sometimes the dwf is created and sometimes not. Whatever the result, something isn't right.

Ok... I think I know the problem. Within our base drawing file, I have layout tabs for construction, fixture, lighting, etc. plans. If I want to print all sheets within the base plan, layer conversions run for the specific tabs. Therefore, I BELIEVE that the publisher is trying to go faster than the drawing allows. I am including our code because I have no idea as to where to add the pauses. Please help!
