DWF gray screen

When I try and create a dwf all I get is a gray/blank screen. The file size is correct I just get a blank screen, if I try and publish to the web I get a error message that "missing dwf6 eplot.pc3, jpg.pc3 and png.pc3 you must reinstall the software" so I re-installed the software same thing. I'm running XP and AutoCad 2004. It was working just fine untill two days ago. any ideas?

I dont get an error when I plot using the dwf6 option just a gray dwf with about a 300k file size. We have 3 2004 seats all 3 do the same thing.

David,

Are you using the "publish" command or are you just
going through plot and selecting the DWF6 PC3 file?  Try using the
"publish" command, not that that should produce anything different, but it would
be good information to have.  Secondly, try doing a zoom extents in AEV and
see what shows up; to do this select the double arrow button on the top ribbon
bar.  Something to look for is a single dot or two somewhere on the screen,
if you see one zoom in on the area and see if that is your data.

tony

Do you see the paper if you click "zoom to window"?
If so the

view in the dwf is bad.

Can you email me one of your 3 DWF files that are
around 300K and let me analyze it?

Better yet, can you send the DWG used to create the
DWF file?

When I try and Publish to the Web I get the following error
"DWF6 eplot.pc3 or Publish to the Web JPG.pc3 or Publish to the web PNG.pc3 plotter driver not found. You must reinstall the software." So I reinstalled the software and get the same error. Any ideas?

Is your profile's Device Driver File Search Path correct? What about the
Printer Configuration and Description File Search Path correct?

I have both of the file paths mapped to the same network folder for pc3 and pmp. I've doubled check to make sure that the paths are valid and not map to a drive letter but the actual server name.

Have you tried copying them locally and using a
local path instead of a server share?

Ok that worked, I moved the search path for the printers quite some time ago. So I'm not sure why it would cause a problem.

Thanks

Perhaps the 'CAD is having trouble getting to the
server path, who knows.  Glad you're back in action.  Thanks for your
patience.
