Convert DWF6 to ealier version

Is there any way to convert Autocad 2004 DWF files to the earlier Autocad
2002 format? I don't want to use Autodesk Express Viewer to view these
files, and I really don't want us to have to generate every DWF again.

Is there any easy way to batch convert these files to the earlier format for
viewing in Volo View Express?

Nothing that I would be aware of.

Wow you are one in a million. You actually want to go from the new Autodesk
Express Viewer to obsolete Volo View Express. You might as well check with
Microsoft to see if they have a patch that "upgrades" a Windows XP system to
Windows 95. 🙂 The Autodesk Express Viewer is so much simpler, I find this
request surprising.

Send me your email address and I will send you a copy of the DwfRevert
sample app (part of the DWF toolkit).

Ask whomever sent you the new DWF6 file to plot to Classic DWF instead.

He really didn't want to generate every DWF again. The classic DWF reverter
may be in order for this user.

Many thanks Jeffrey, I've just e-mailed you my request 🙂

Scott, if you've nothing useful to say, don't say it. I wouldn't have
posted my request if I didn't have a very good reason for it. Your
sarcastic reply is nothing but a waste of time.

For anyone who's interested. The problem I'm having is that I've just
joined a firm where historically DWF's have been generated with yellow lines
on a white background (believe it or not, they did have a reason for doing
this!). In Volo View Express this was not a problem as they have changed
the default background colour to black, overriding the white background and
allowing these drawings to be viewed on screen. With the new Express
Viewer, we're not able to do this, effectively making several thousand
existing DWF files unreadable in the new viewer and forcing us to stick with
Volo View Express for the time being...
