Nope. The build I have been installing is 3.1.0.78.

Just *how* am I supposed to know that there is a new version without going
thru the tedium of "registration" for the dozenth (? ) time?! This is
    real informative http://tinyurl.com/j2cz NOT.

    | Might I ask which build of the AutoDesk Express Viewer you are installing?
    |
    | You can find that by going to Help -> About and the Build Version is the
    | number of interest here. I am presuming that it is build 3.1.0.92 but I
    | would just like to be sure...

    R,

Well, one way would be to use the automatic update functionality built into
    the Viewer itself.

From the Help menu, select the 'Check for Viewer Update'. If there is a
newer version of the Viewer available, you will be informed and given the
choice to install there and then. If you decide to do the installation, the
current instance of the open Viewer will be closed and a newer version
    downloaded and installed.

Further details about this are given in the "Checking for Viewer Updates"
    section of the Viewer Help

    I hope that this helps.

It would still be nice to have versioning numbers accessible on the web
    page.

Jason, I just performed a FDisk'd install of WinXP Pro SP1. Installed EV
build 3.1.0.92, and got the same behavior. FWIW.
