3d DWF model view problem

My first attempts at creating a 3D dwf haven't been good. The viewport in the dwf is 7/8 blank or cut off (see attached image). The sliver of image on the right will show the model if I pan over and I can zoom in/ out in the little view. What causes this? Design was made in MDT 2006. Also, I need to supply these final files ASAP to the customer (of course, right).

3D DWF files were a technology preview in the 2006 products. 3D DWF
publishing has come a long way since then.

So what is the answer/ suggestion? Am I doing something wrong or is 3d dwf not capable from MDT 2006? I need to know so I can look for another method.

I would try downloading the free DWG TrueView 2008 and publishing a 3D DWF
from that. You can upgrade to MDT 2008 if you wish.
