i often have to send drawings to consultants who do not have pc's. in terms of electronic coordination this is a pain in the butt. besides you would think that autodesk would want to keep a corner market on electronic file transfer.
are they any thoughts about creating a free viewer (dwf) for mac?
Autodesk does not write programs for the Apple OS, waste of money and
resources putting out a free or cheap product for a market you sell no
software to... .
When working with MAC based users, use the more common PDF file format,
which integrates best with all MAC software (so they don't have to buy
anymore software). A search of this NG should show you a bunch of links.

Yeah, I agree, but Autodesk has its own priorities and weird logic.

If the Mac is such a big DWG viewing market, why don't you guys get
ObjectDBX, create your own viewer, and give it away for free? 🙂
