autodesk express viewer

Can anyone explain why i cannot load DWFs created in AutoCAD 2002 in the new
express viewer? (Express viewer Version 3.1 Build 3.1.0.78)

Error appears as follows :

Error:
Unsupported file type

Any ideas? Bit of a rubbish viewer if you can only read 2004 and above
files.

The AEV viewer was created to support all DWF versions. Can you email me
one of these problem files?
