Question about printing from Vola View

Is there a way to make the lines thicker or darker when printed? Everything
comes out kind of grey...

No, that is not a feature of the free Volo View Express if that is what you
have.

If you have the purchased US$195.00 Volo View, change your plot style table
settings.

Thanks for the info. I have the Vola View Express that came with Inventor

Under the View menu there is a selection for Black and White.
That will all the colored lines come out black instead of grey on a
laserprinter.

If using View Express select "force geometry to black" in the print dialog.
If Volo View select black and white from the right client menu.

This will prevent your printer from making everything gray.

I checked in my printer dialog box that comes up during printing and this is
not available as an option. HP-4V

I did try using the "Black and White" selection and it made the lines a
little clearer to see but they are still very light.

Do you have access to the original .dwg? It may be something about
the .dwf plot.

I was using a .dwg drawing. Am I supposed to be using a .dwf instead?

If you are using "Autodesk Express View" (this is a new DWF only viewer) you
can check "Force All Geometry to Black" in the print dialog.

If you are using "Volo View" of "Volo View Express" (I think you are using
one of these) select "Black and White" from the right click menu before
printing.
