Power Point

When Express Viewer, or Volo View Express is installed one can insert a
control to a DWF file within a Power Point document using the Autodesk Volo
View Control. I recieved a newsletter a while back from our reseller that
explains how this is done. I tried it (with Volo View Express) and it
worked. I tried it today, with both VVE and Express Viewer (using the
Autodesk Express Viewer Control) and now it doesn't work. All I get after I
select the file name is a blue rectangle. Anyone else have this problem?
Solutions? These are the steps I used:

1. New PP document
2. Insert Express Viewer Control
3. Pick rectangle for the control
4. Right click on the rectangle and click Properties
5. Click button in the Custom box within the properties dialog
6. Browse for filename
7. Click OK

Thanks for any help

I have a similar problem to the one described by Matt Kolberg. I have success using Express Viewer in Power Point on my home computer, but it crashes the office computer. I receive an error message, "express viewer - Error 001-2147024809" This is the only information given by the pop-up message. Express viewer works on the office computer, but always generates this error message in power point. The office computer is networked, has XP professional. The home computer has XP home. Both computers and work programs are new. I removed Express Viewer and downloaded it again thinking the download might be corrupt, no change. Does anyone recognize the error message? Is this post "upcoming release" mentioned by Jeffrey Klug?

The error is an "Invalid Parameter".   In the error dialog where
you see this error, please click the error text, then hit the down arrow.
There will be some additional information that will tell us in which source code
file (and at which line) the problem occured.  Can you tell me what that
reads?

Thanks.

The additional info reads, "CAdViewer::LoadSourcePath:383"
Hope that helps.
