Layer Isolate command generating an error.

We're using Express Tools 2000 on ADT3.3 with a Windows 2000 o.s. One of our users is experiencing inconsistent results with the Layer Isolate command. Occasionally it works fine, other times it generates the error "rejected "clayer" 0ROOF1" - in the same drawing (and the layer 0ROOF1 is unlocked). Any ideas?

Wrong ng.

But it is likely that the layer is frozen. A frozen layer
cannot be set current with (setvar "clayer" layername), it will
barf.
