Event coordinates layers

Good morning to everybody,
I have this question to be exposed.
I must intercept inside the DWF file, the event linked at the coordinated
Layers of the drawing.
After reading the coordinates I must show the text description of the
Hotspot from an outside file (but this is another marginal problem).
Are there some Scripting (JS, VBS, Etc) languages that they allow me to do
it or I must use only the C++ API's?
I am also ready not to use Express Viewer, but another (volo, whip!, etc..)
