I have been trying to "automate" the install of DR 2011 on my Citrix farm of 63 servers and had nothing but problems. Never had any Autodesk software on them before, and I have tried a few different options with switches and such, msiexec, actual exe install etc. It just does nothing. I would like to set this up scripted so that it will install onto the servers with no interaction at all, Visual Studio 2008 etc. The whole thing. We use Altiris to push out the inages and other than this app, everything else works fine. This one had been fighting me for about a week now.
THoughts? (Other than take Prozac and count to 10?) 😉
It will install manually no problem. Just not using a script to try and set options.
