Background colour

I am trying to view my DWF files with a black background and no matter what I do they come out with a white background.
When I was using a previous version of ACAD I had no probs. Now using ACAD 2002 I can only get a white background.
Am i doing something wrong in ACAD or the viewer? If so What am I doing wrong?

DWF classic and ePLOT DWFs work differently: try using the other to get the
desired effect.

You can get the desired effect by modifying the
properties for your pc3 file of the DWF.

In the plot dialog,

select the DWF EPlot.pc3 file.

Click on Properties button.

In the Plotter Configuration Editor,

    Select the Device and Document
Settings Tab

    Select Custom
Properties

    Click on the Custom Properties
... button in the same dialog

You now get the DWF Properties
dialog

        Change
the Background color shown in the viewer to your desired color.

        Clik Ok
to dismiss the DWF Properties dialog

    Click Ok to dismiss the
Plotter Configuration Editor dialog

Now, you can save the changes just made as a
separate pc3 file or apply it one time to the current plot.

The DWF produced from this plot, when opened in
Express Viewer will show the desired background color.
