MudBox File read Error.

Hello!

When i go to open up my mudbox file i keep getting the same error message. The File opens just fine at my school but on my home computer it is having issues.

File version is too new or is corrupt

Class Name: RetopoMapping, File version: 5, Current version: 4

I installed service pack 2 for 2014 and still having the same issue. and uninstalled then reinstalled.

I am out of ideas! please help!!

That sounds like the Subscription Advantage Pack was installed on thw school computer, but not at home. the two versions are different.

Do you have a subscription? If so, then you should download the advantage pack and install it at home too.

Thanks RobinBall6995! I'm using academic version of Mudbox and I've ran into the same error as Truelax. So where can I find the Advantage Pack for Mudbox 2014? I did a Google but the results are mostly for Mudbox 2012 or 2011. Thanks again!

mudbox 2015 should open the file fine...
but to recreate the scene for 2014 could be a lot of handwork...

or you just import the highres and do a recreate subD levels... in this case you would loose all the sculpting layers...
