MudBox 2015 can't change brush size/strength using B/M key

Hi guys,

I'm using Student Version of MudBox 2015. I'm trying to increase/decrease brush size/strength by holding B/M key and then press Left mouse button and drag up/down but it doesn't seem to work.

Could anyone please tell me if I'm doing something wrong?

Thank you for any insight.

This problem could be perhaps your are increasing the size/strengh more than the size of the viewport.Try to save work and close Mudbox, and restart it.
I have various questions about problems in mudbox too here, and have no reponses or help...
I have an youtube channel for 3D learning, including 3DS MAX and Youtube.

Thanks for your response. My brush size/strength is currently very small.

Can you tell me the exact steps you use to increase size/strength? Press and hold M, and then click left Mouse and drag up/down?

Your channel looks very useful to me, thanks!

Perhaps it will help ...--> Menu "Windows" -> "Hotkeys" -> Select "mudbox" -> + resetting. My apologies for the translator.

same here, the indicator shows up but I cannot adjust it.

When I swith the UI to mudbox (windows-> hotkeys) it works but when using 3ds Max shortcuts it fails to work.

You probably already know by now, but im still posting in case others run into this issue.

When using settings for 3D's Max in mudbox, you need to click: Ctrl + Shift + Left Mouse Button to adjust the size by dragging. To ajdust strength, click Alt + Shift + L Mouse Button and once again, drag to adjust the level.

Why when changing the brush size (by holding b and dragging) sometime the increments are small, and sometimes huge, so the brush gets 'lost'?
