Leveling down

I'm trying to level down my model to level zero (0), and it gives me this error: "You need to level down fully to mixed levels!" What does it mean, and why won't it level down to level zero? If anyone knows the answer, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks. 🙂

Never had this, but my guess is that you've done some local subdivisions, that some parts are not on the same subd-level as the majority.
Meaning -> for instance, most of your mesh is at level 1, but you've got some parts that are level 4 or something. Mudbox probably wants everything to be level 1 before it goes down to level 0.

Could be wrong here though. As I said, I for one never encountered something like this before. 🙂

Thanks for trying to help... I didn't do any local sub-d on this model... so I'm not sure what I could've done wrong.. but I did something wrong. lol... I'll keep working at it. I saved earlier versions of when it was ok, so i'll just lose a bit of time by doing specific parts over... thank goodness for saving in versions.
