Black Objects in Mudbox

I'm having problems with Mudbox. any oject I create or import is all black. If I change the material to crome and the lighting to gallery I can get the object to display in a faded yellow color and can see the mesh, but it is still not right. while the object is black I can tumble it and see the mesh on the inside of the object, with the same pail yellow color as when I change the material and lighting. I have tried running mudbox in compatability mode, but to no avail. I have included the system info from mudbox and a screen shot of what I see when I create an object, if anyone can help or sugest anything it would sure be appreciated.

I dont know if anyone has had these problems but the HP 4540 probook I have will not display mudbox objects in anything but black. I have gone through all the lighting setups, installed the latest drivers and checked to make sure the software is up to date and still nothing works. I have tried to contact autodesk but that is like spitting into the wind because they dont care about the customer after you have purchased their products. If anyone has any suggestions please advise.  I have listed my system stats below.

Thank You

Hi, I had a similar case recently.

Please be sure that you use Mudbox 2014 extension 1

Let us know if that helps.
