Hi, what happened to this website and all the old links.

Suddenly, our links do not work anymore. Please note that there is many and many hours and money invest to search solutions for our customers.

And i am not talking about those solutions that we will need to research again.

I did'nt test all of my links but each one i tested won't work.

Meanwhile, can you help me and point me to the solution of this old thread:

Hi Eric,

The new support & learning web site (http://knowledge.autodesk.com) went live on Feb 8. There was an extensive set of redirect rules to make sure the old support site URLs didn't break, including top visited pages, however, we were not able to redirect all 40,000+ page URLs 1:1 to their equivalent on the new site.  Many will redirect to product areas, or other higher level pages on the new site. That said, the following is a tip on one way to construct the new site URL from an old one.

The "old" URLs contain an ID field "id=#####":  (Example: usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=16436702&linkID=9240617). That number is a unique identifier that can be added to one of the following URLs depending on the type of content:

Knowledge Base Article: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/article/TS_____    OR    http://knowledge.autodesk.com/article/GS_____

Download: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/article/DL_____

Using my example above: http://knowledge.autodesk.com/article/TS16436702

Please note that this is not foolproof, especially for older content.

Hello from France

YES old links are broken !

I can admit BUT I think you could take time to redirect about 100-150 important DIRECT links to Service Packs / Updates Packs

for each software : ACAD, ACAD LT, MAP, CIVIL, AA, MEP, etc, REVIT, Inventor, 3DSMax, etc ...

Bye, Pat
