Forums Landing Page Issue

All forums show 0 new posts. Igo to most any of these and there are plenty of new posts.

I hate that the breadcrumbs won't allow you to go back to the forum landing where forum navigation originates from... only the Community Landing.

I am with you on this one, but you can just click "FORUMS" just below the Autodesk title at the top left.

While the breadcrumbs don't guide you back to the forums landing, the Forums button on the top left part of the screen will do just that!

 

 

 

Does this help or are you particularly interested in having the breadcrumbs enable navigation back to the forums landing?

Before this changeover, my link to these forums took me directly to a page that listed all of my bookmarked/subscribed topics. Now, the only way I can find to locate that list is through "preferences" and the "subscriptions and notifications" tab, followed by "my bookmarks".

 

There HAS to be a better/easier way to locate the list of topics I'm interested in without having to wade through dozens of topics I don't care to follow, and I hope I don't have to "reselect" them all in some way to build a new list? Before, it was one click and I was at my list of interests.....

Yes, the "Forum" button links back to the Forum Landing, but isn't the purpose of breadcrumbs to provide a logical trail back to where you started?  That isn't currently the case.  Especially with the absense of the Floated Forums feature, navigation is not as easy as it should be (or was) and having to jump between left side and right side links to move around the forums is not very efficient.

Hi pkolarik,

 

The Community Landing has an area covering your current board and topic subscriptions. From the View All/Manage button you can see all your Subscriptions.

That's a fair point nestly.

 

I'll look into the possibility of adding Forums Landing to the breadcrumbs.
