Something which I've seen used to good effect here are pinned posts that contain references/links to commonly asked topics/questions and their respective solutions.
This is something that wouldn't take very long to put together I don't think, but would benefit the user-base massively.
Yes, the search function has been improved, and you now have the wiki pages as (I believe) the default help source within most of the Autodesk 2012 packages, but these reference posts could simply link to the relevant wiki page or something..
Some web forums used to maintain FAQs. It seems to me that AutoDesk WikiHelp can now fill that function. I'd like to encourage forum members to reference WikiHelp pages (embed links) in replies to posts. I'd also like to encourage us to edit the Wiki's to add our knowledge about:
how the programs work
how to use commands in the programs effectively
what limitations exist and how to work around them
what error messages mean and how to correct them
It seems to me that Wiki should be the first place I go for help and then come to the forums when I can't find what I need. They are a neat structured way to find information.
