Mastering Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2004 is almost here!!!
Despite what Amazon has to say, I am told by my publisher that we will hit
the streets the first week of August. (Next week!!!)
I am of course as anxious as many of you to get my hands on the final copy
of this bad boy. It seems like the longest period in the world is the time
between when I deliver manuscript to the time that printed books hit the
street. (That and the time between when my wife and I put the kids down to
bed and the time when they actually fall asleep...)
I was just on Amazon and noticed that they are offering Mastering Autodesk
Architectural Desktop 2004 at a 30% discount with free Super Saver shipping!
If you would like to pre-order and contribute a bit to the Aubin family
sleepless kids college fund at the same time... please visit Amazon via my
web site:
www.paulaubin.com
or direct link to Mastering Autodesk Architectural Desktop 2004:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1401 848850/ref=ase_paulfaubi-20/104-3552244-8625548?v= glance&s=books
Watch for word-wrap.
Also, the publisher has brought the online companion for this title online.
Currently it contains all of the ADT 2004 Brain Dumps posted at various
times here. Thank you all of the Autodesk authors for granting me permission
to publish these! There are also some awesome AVIs from Chris Yanchar on
Mass Element editing. In the future, and as necessary, I will also post
addenda to that site, so please check there often!
http://www.delmarlearning.com/companions/index.asp ?isbn=1401848850
For a complete Table of Contents and Description of the book, visit:
www.paulaubin.com/products3.htm
As always, thank all of you for your interest and your patience while this
book has come into being. I am very pleased with how it came out. I
certainly hope you will all agree! Thanks again!

sigh...
I placed an order at amazon.com, on June 12th, says just checked it today say's it won't ship until March 14, 15 2004.
If I see it at a local book store, befor that I might just cancel that order and buy there.

March 14, 2004!!! That has to be a mistake. I am
supposed to be seeing a box full of them this week at a client site. If this in
fact does happen, I will let you know. Although I have no control over Amazon, I
have been assured by my publisher that it starts shipping the end of this week.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Thanks for your patience!!!

Paul,
Just out of curiosity, how much does it weigh?
How many pages is it?

I called amazon, and got the conformation, checked again a week later, now it's been pushed backed even futher, now it has a May release. Seems Barns & Nobles has a September date.
I wonder what gives with Amazon?

I have held a copy in my hand. I DOES exist!!! I
just got back from a business trip where we were able to get some copies for a
client. So, despite what Amazon says (and I still see September on their site)
they should begin shipping any day now.

Not sure. What would happen if you ordered through
the US site? Would they kill you on shipping?
