Role and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all BDi policies & procedures.
  • Assist with Survey work for course layout design/verification.
  • Assist to ensure that designs are in compliance with BDi and industry standards.
  • Provide overlap to Project Managers & Superintendents for any design specifics.
  • Assist with all Architectural Drafting & Structural Design/Engineering.
  • Assist with the creation of all Architectural and Civil designs, as needed.
  • Ensure that Design Document Control policies and practices are being followed throughout.
  • Consult with the Training and Operations Department during product design development.

Job Requirements:

  • Must have significant experience with Revit 2012 – Architectural software package.
  • Must have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a professional demeanor with a team oriented work ethic.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Must have a commitment to working at a level that meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Must have attention to detail and ability to work on multiple construction projects concurrently.
  • Must have a commitment to respect, support, and work in harmony with the ethos, vision, and values of BDi.
  • Must have the ability to learn and to quickly become familiar with BDi design concepts.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous drafting experience.
  • Previous survey experience.
  • Previous structural design experience.
  • Clear understanding of standard construction practices.
  • The ability to provide material take-offs and budgets.
  • Experienced with high-angle work and/or rescues.
  • Familiar with industry standards and common practices.
  • Certified as a Level I or Level II Zip Line Guide.
  • Use of survey tools: clinometer, compass, range finder, maps, etc…
